COVID-19 Vaccinations (as of 00:00, Jun. 24)

- 84.2% of people eligible for the first round of shots and 23.2% of those eligible for the second round of shots have been vaccinated.

*Vaccination coverage rate can be lower than the previous day’s figure due to a change in the vaccine eligibility.

 

Special COVID-19 site inspection at 123 parcel delivery terminals and logistics warehouses (Jun. 16 - 29)

- To check up virus control systems, entry/exit control measures, management of working spaces and communal spaces, etc.

 

Enhanced virus containment measures in place for the overseas entrants from India

- Target: All entrants from India (natives, foreigners on long-term visit)

- Strengthened quarantine measures: a 7-day quarantine at temporary living facilities and along with a 7-day self-quarantine (14 days in total)

*Required to get tested for coronavirus upon arrival, prior to leaving the living facilities, and prior to being released from self-quarantine (two times three times)

 

COVID-19 testing for 1,367 people who used public facilities related to confirmed cases is underway (positive: 16, negative: 1,214 / in progress: 137)

 

Major Test Results

- Out of 86 people related to a singing room in Bupyeong-gu: Positive-3, In progress-83

- All 272 people related to a high school in Gyeyang-gu tested negative.
