COVID-19 Vaccine Roll-out in Incheon (as of 00:00, Aug. 25)

-By percentage of population: Received the 1st dose - 57.8% / Fully vaccinated: 26.3%

*The number of vaccinated residents aged 18 or older (as of the end of Jun.) / Vaccinated population out of the all eligible people (first dose: 84.3%, fully vaccinated: 38.3%)

 

Administrative order issued for businesses at industrial parks hiring foreign workers to get diagnostic test for COVID-19 (Aug. 24 - Sept. 6)

- Target: All employers and employees of businesses at Incheon-based industrial parks hiring foreign workers

- Testing locations: Screening stations at local public health centers and temporary screening centers in Incheon

 

COVID-19 testing for 2,094 people who used public facilities related to confirmed cases    is underway (positive: 22 / negative: 1,943 / in progress: 129)

- All 124 people related to a kindergarten in Michuhol-gu tested negative.

- Out of 173 people related to an elementary school in Namdong-gu: Negative-154, In progress-19

Five ways to prevent COVID-19 infections

1. Stay at home for three to four days when you are sick.

2. Keep a safe distance of two arms-length from others.

3. Wash your hands for at least 30 seconds and cover your mouth and nose with your sleeves when coughing.

4. Ventilate at least twice a day and disinfect regularly.

5. Stay socially connected while being physically distant.
