Post Office User Instructions

  • Through the outdoors unattended postal window, you may use the post office postal service without visiting.

Domestic Mail
  • Domestic mail is sorted by ordinary mail (express/regular/overnight delivery) and package mail (express/registered).
  • Express mail is more expensive than regular mail but the delivery date is shorter. Ordinary mails are delivered within 4 days while express mails are delivered a day right after you send them out.
International Mail
  • International mail is sorted by ordinary mail, package and Express Mail Service (EMS), shipping service, and air mail.
  • Normally for packages, you can send a maximum of 20㎏, and for EMS a maximum of 30㎏. Postal charges may vary by country or package size, weight, and type.
Parcel Delivery Service
  • Parcel services are very developed in Korea and there are many parcel delivery companies here. Parcel services that directly deliver to the addressee are more expensive than regular postal services, but you may send anything you want to any place in the country.

  • Except post office, private companies which provide courier services are Kyoungdong Express (☎ 1899-5368), Logen Express (☎ 1588-9988), Hyundai Logistics (☎ 1588-2121), etc.
  • Because the rates vary depending on standard weight and size at each company, the confirmation is preferred before using.
  • The courier box can be purchased at post office and the prices of box with 700 won - 2,700 won depend on the size of box.
